An Adventure by Land and Sea

Visitors can take a private cruise in the resort’s 46-foot motor-yacht down the west coast towards the south-west, visiting picturesque Marigot Bay (a natural harbor where boats have escaped storms), the iconic UNESCO World Heritage site of the majestic Pitons that perch on the coastline, and the vibrant St Lucian villages, before arriving in the port of Soufrière.

Here, guests can visit island highlights such as the Sulphur Springs (the world’s only drive-in volcano), take a dip in volcanic mud baths that are said to have powerful medicinal benefits, revive under a natural waterfall, and sample some authentic creole cuisine.

En route back to the resort, visitors have the opportunity to snorkel and discover colorful marine life and corals at one of the protected marine parks.

Chocolate-Making – Bean to Bar

With a chocolate legacy that dates back to the 1700s, the island’s cocoa industry still thrives across several island estates. For guests that seek to delve into this rich history, the ‘Bean to Bar’ Tour is a treat for all the senses.

Setting sail in a catamaran, guests will arrive in Soufrière for their experience at the renowned Hotel Chocolat. The tour sees visitors enjoy a tutorial on the production of cocoa from the pods in the trees and ends with guests creating their very own chocolate that incorporates the estate’s own cocoa. The a la carte lunch makes for an extraordinary addition, with every item on the menu incorporating a cocoa element across sweet and savory dishes.  Following a therapeutic visit to the mud baths, guests will return to the catamaran just in time for a Piton sunset cruise.
